Prosthetics
In our state of the art lab we produce prosthesis for every level of amputation including partial foot, symes, trans-tibial (BK), trans-femoreal (AK), knee or hip disarticulations and hemipelvectomy.  We also provide 24 hour service for post-surgical and temporary/preparatory devices (test sockets).

Orthotics                                           

In our orthotics lab we fabricated thermoplastic and metal leg bracing, ankle foot knee and hip orthotic systems, CROW and other off-loading devices and hip abduction bracing for post-hip surgery.

Devices
Many in the industry may like tall, dark and handsome but Profab Customers are are falling for short, orange, and dependable.  An innovative design the LoPro shuttle lock fills a need where component stack up height makes it impossible to provide proper leg geometry.  The LoPro lock is over a ¼” shorter than the standard locks on the market, a major benefit when height is an issue. 

If your going to design and build a new lock from the ground up why not improve everything, so that’s what we did.  The LoPro lock utilizes two engagement pawls to engage the plunger pin, the only lock available with this feature. It incorporates a hard coat aluminum base plate to reduce wear of the plunger pin hole and increase strength.  An optional snap on spacer plate is available so you can use the LoPro as a drop in replacement for sockets built for conventional 1” locks.  Best of all it comes in Profab Orange, our favorite color.

Easy Guide                

Do your patients have difficulty guiding the plunger pin into the latching mechanism?  Give the Easy Guide shuttle lock a try.  With the steepest guide angles available the Easy Guide makes it nearly impossible for the plunger pin to miss.
